Material Sense is an extensive library of materials in Eindhoven, which is continuing to take shape. The inspiring collection of materials provides a platform for manufacturers, suppliers and research institutes to share and exchange information on materials and their applications with designers, product developers and students from various design departments.

Material Sense 2 – Innovations, held in October 2005 is the follow-up of the successful first edition in 2003. The exhibition highlighted the smart use of materials and particularly the use of materials within the design process. K's DESIGN was asked to develop a DVD containing photographs and information on the 78 new materials presented during the exhibition, also including related interviews and video clips. The DVD is easy to navigate and inspires and challenges the viewer.
